Recycling Centers Open

The McKinley and Cibola County recycling centers have opened and are being operated by the Regional Solid Waste Authority. The Gallup center is located at 107 Hasler Valley Road. The Milan  site is on State Road 568 in Milan.

Billy W. Moore, the director of the Solid Waste Authority, deserves credit for taking on the implementation of these centers.Kudos to a responsible public official. “Recycling is a way for all of us to take care of our environment.  Recycling saves energy and resources like oil, water, and trees.  It reduces pollution and litter and it slows down the filling of our landfill.” said Mr. Moore
